Founded in 1885, the Delta Chapter of Theta Xi is the second-oldest fraternity at MIT. Originally founded as the first engineering fraternity, today Theta Xi is a home to students of all backgrounds and interests. Since its creation, Theta Xi has played a role in the lives of over 1000 MIT students. Theta Xi strives to enrich the lives of its members by providing academic support, social outlets, athletic events, and community service.
